Dustin Soper

Dustin Soper is the corporate social media manager, helping oversee social media and digital marketing across the SPIRE Hospitality portfolio. His responsibilities span from supporting on-property social media and marketing initiatives to driving marketing and social media at the corporate level.

He joined SPIRE Hospitality with extensive experience in social media and marketing from his work with Dimension Hospitality, Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, and Grindr, one of the nation’s most popular social networking sites.

Dustin’s career trajectory is a testament to his drive and talent. He made a small entry into the hospitality industry in 2016 as a concierge and PBX operator at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown. His passion and dedication propelled him to the marketing coordinator role and eventually to the position of social media manager. His outstanding performance was recognized by Hilton, where he won a Hilton Travel with Purpose Grant and was named Hilton’s Top Interactive Social Media Team Member for 2017. Hilton also recruited him for their “Hilton Suggests Explore” program, a testament to his expertise and knowledge of things to do in Nashville.

Starting in April 2019, Dustin served as the social media and e-commerce manager at StepStone Hospitality. In this role, he provided comprehensive support to the portfolio’s luxury, select-service, and full-service properties, as well as the corporate office. His expertise in social media, e-commerce, and marketing initiatives was crucial in enhancing the company’s digital presence and driving customer engagement.

Dustin joined SPIRE Hospitality in August 2022. Due to his substantial contributions to SPIRE’s success through his inventive and strategic approach to his trade, high-caliber, captivating material, and collaborative efforts, he was given the Impact Award at the annual SPIRE Leadership Conference in March 2023. In February 2024, he was named one of Hotel Management’s Forty Over 40, which highlights passionate, committed leaders in the hospitality sector who are at least 40 years old.

In his spare time, he dabbles at photographing random things, shopping, and going out with friends.
