SPIREHospitality Names Jessica Sherbert Director of Sales for The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

IRVING, TX — April 10th, 2024 — SPIRE Hospitality is pleased to announce that Jessica Sherbert has been appointed director of sales for The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando.

In her new role, Sherbert will oversee all sales initiatives for The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, including strategic planning for group, leisure, and wholesale sales. She will report to Anna Stone, The Grove’s director of marketing and business development.

The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, located at 14501 Grove Resort Ave, Winter Garden, FL, is an 878-key full-service property with four onsite restaurants. It is also home to the Surfari Water Park, which features a 700-foot lazy river, dual water slides, and a surf simulator. The resort is designated a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and offers complimentary shuttles to Disney’s four Orlando parks.

“Jessica has a wealth of group and wholesale experience in the greater Orlando area,” Stone said. “She knows the customers, she knows the market, and we know she’ll be able to work seamlessly with our team to bring prospective guests the high-level service that they expect during the booking experience. We are thrilled to have her.”

 Most recently, Sherbert was the director of sales and marketing at Marriott Village Orlando. She spent the last four years developing and implementing the marketing and sales strategy at this 865-room complex. She has previously held director-level positions with full-service Hilton and Marriott portfolio properties.

Sherbert began her hospitality career as the business development manager for the steakhouse at Shula’s Hotel in Miami. Jessica’s first director role was building the team and opening a new property in Palm Beach Gardens in 2008.

Sherbert attended Michigan State University, where she studied Advertising and Public Relations. She also earned a diploma in International Marketing through her studies and work in Mexico and London.

A resident of Winter Garden, Sherbert is an avid exercise enthusiast and loves being outdoors. She has three children, a daughter in college and two younger boys.
