SPIRE Hospitality COVINGTON, KY — November 20, 2023 – Sanjay Mahajan has been named as the new general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle North Lynnwood. Located at 20610 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA, the hotel is managed by SPIRE Hospitality.
Mahajan will lead all facets of operations, including marketing, hotel oversight, and guest services and satisfaction. He brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to his new role and has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia for organizations such as Sonesta Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotel Group, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, The Peninsula Chicago, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and Hyatt International.
Mahajan holds an MBA in finance from DePaul University, Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Roosevelt University, Chicago, and a diploma in Hotel Management from Institute Hotelier Cesar Ritz, Le Bouveret, Switzerland.

Mahajan is deeply invested in the future of the hospitality industry, giving back to the community, and developing upcoming leaders. He has taught courses in the Hospitality Management Program at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago, Kendall College Chicago, Highline College Seattle, and South Seattle Community College. He also volunteers on the boards of South Seattle Community College, Highline College, Issaquah Highlands Community Association, and Boy Scouts of America.
