DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Grand Rapids Airport Appoints Emily Holtrop as New Director of Sales

Holtrop brings more than 12 years of industry experience to the position

GRAND RAPIDS, Mi – August 30, 2023 – Emily Holtrop has been named as the new director of sales at the 226-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Grand Rapids Airport. Holtrop will lead all strategic sales and marketing endeavors while supporting the hotel’s mission to provide outstanding service to guests. Located at 4747 28th St. SE, the hotel is owned by AWH-BP Grand Rapids Hotel and managed by SPIRE Hospitality.

Holtrop joined DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Grand Rapids Airport as catering sales manager in 2015 and was promoted to senior sales manager in May of 2022. Holtrop is also involved in giving back to the local community, most recently working with Michigan Waterways Stewards to pick up trash along the Lansing River Trail, underscoring Hilton’s philosophy of service and corporate responsibility.
