Richard Sandoval

Richard Sandoval was named Chief Executive Officer of Spire Hospitality in July 2026, having joined the company in 2014. Over more than a decade with Spire, Mr. Sandoval has been instrumental in building the operating platform that established the company as one of the industry’s leading third-party hotel management firms, advancing strategic initiatives and improving performance across a national portfolio of independent and branded hotels. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development, leading the expansion of Spire’s managed portfolio and the evolution of its lifestyle hotel experience, and previously served as the company’s Vice President of Operations. With more than two decades in hospitality — including a tenure as President of Welcome Group — Mr. Sandoval brings deep expertise across both independent and branded assets and a rare combination of dealmaker and seasoned operator. As CEO, he leads Spire’s next phase of growth with a focus on operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and AI-enabled innovation.
