In this role, you'll deliver exceptional guest service while enhancing the building's appearance. As a Painter, your mission is to ensure all painted walls and surfaces are impeccably maintained and expertly repaired. Essential Job Functions: 

  • Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests by responding promptly to guest concerns and requests.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by repairing damaged walls, cleaning, sanding, and priming them, ensuring a flawless foundation for an attractive finish.
  • With brushes, rollers, and sprayers, skillfully apply paint, varnish, and stains to transform surfaces into polished finishes.
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs to maintain a fresh and well-kept appearance.
  • Monitor painting supplies to prevent stock shortages.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Stand and walking for the duration of the shift.
  • Reach in all directions while standing on a ladder scaffolding or may lift at heights up to 20 feet.
  • Climb stairs, scaffolding and ladders.
  • Grasp, lift or carry objects at least waist high weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances throughout the facility.
  • Visual ability to include the determination of color.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

 

 Experience:  

  • Considerable knowledge of paint, drywall/repairs and installation of baseboards /trim required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred (in the hospitality industry or related field.)
