Jamelia Lehn, CPA, serves as Chief Financial Officer at Spire Hospitality. Having over 20 years of experience in real estate accounting and property management, she is not just a seasoned accounting and finance executive but a beacon of innovative leadership and inclusivity in the corporate realm.

Prior to joining Spire Hospitality, Jamelia was the Chief Financial Officer for Roots Management Group, where she led a team of 60+ individuals and transformed the Accounting, Human Resources, IT, and Shared Services functions. Her visionary leadership not only charted the company’s growth strategy but also ensured execution of process improvements, all while providing insightful reports to the Board of Directors. Jamelia’s role extended beyond the typical CFO duties as she was a pivotal member of the Governance & Audit Committee, where her insight and expertise helped to guide critical decision-making.

Before joining Roots Management Group, Jamelia made significant waves at Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading global hospitality company, in various leadership roles from Director of Central Accounting to SVP Corporate Controller and SVP of Belonging, Inclusion, and People Strategies. Here, she was not just a role model but a trailblazer, leading through many M&A transactions and co-founding the esteemed “Women’s Leadership Empowerment and Development” (WLEAD) network. Her collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team set the foundation for a culture of excellence, talent nurturing, and impactful initiatives.

Jamelia’s journey is paved with impressive milestones, mastering the art of team development, process improvement, scalability, and financial management. Her early career at prestigious firms like Goldman Sachs, and significant contributions to companies such as Ashford Hospitality Trust, Prime Income Asset Management, and Equity Residential, highlight her diverse expertise and relentless pursuit of excellence. Jamelia’s academic pursuits, with degrees from Dallas Baptist University and the University of Dallas, complemented by certifications from the John Maxwell Team, underscore her dedication to lifelong learning and professional development.
