For Dawna Comeaux, hospitality is far beyond a career choice—it’s a way of life. As COO of SPIRE Hospitality™, Dawna combines her goal-oriented, analytical approach with her belief in creating memorable experiences for SPIRE partners, employees, and guests alike, to ensure that the right people and processes are in place to elevate each hotel’s performance.

Recruited upon graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management from the University of Houston, Dawna has gained a wealth of knowledge and well-rounded experience over the past three decades, leading sales, operations, and revenue management teams for some of the largest third-party hospitality management companies. Dawna served as Area Director of Operations & Sales for Prism Hotels, Senior VP of Sales and Senior VP of Operations for Archon Hospitality (a Goldman Sachs company) and, prior to joining SPIRE Hospitality™, led 8,000+ team members representing all major hotel brands, including 260 hotels across 45 states, as Executive VP of Operations & Sales for Pillar Hotels and Resorts.

Dawna’s depth of experience and understanding of both the sales and operations side of the business enables her to effectively align and enhance operations, sales, and service, to exceed company objectives, deliver unparalleled guest experiences, and achieve maximum ROI.
