Barbara Doucet

Devoted to creating and cultivating an environment in which everyone feels welcome, Barbara Doucet fosters a diverse culture of collaboration and high-performance as SPIRE’s VP of Human Resources. Her belief in the ability of individuals to make a difference, drives her commitment to supporting every team member in their continued growth, both personally and professionally.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University, and obtaining her SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, Barbara spent nearly 25 years in human resources, operations, and general manager roles at Target Stores, prior to joining Omni Hotels & Resorts as their VP of Human Resources. Throughout her impressive 12-year tenure, Barbara oversaw the human resources strategy for over 50 Omni Hotels & Resorts and managed a team of over 50 Field Directors, Area Directors, and corporate HR employees. Barbara is also the Human Resources Co-Chair of the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Human Resources Committee and a founding member of Women with Promise, a non-profit organization supporting women and their families.

Barbara’s comprehensive experience and in-depth knowledge of both teams and operations enables her to ensure that SPIRE has an amazing people-centric and service-oriented team.
