Glide San Francisco provides meals, access to housing, healthcare and other vital services to those in need in the San Francisco area. Team members from The Barnes San Francisco were happy to lend their time to this cause recently.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Albuquerque recently donated 12 bags of gently used linens to Bernalillo County Animal Care Services. These linens will provide warmth and comfort to pets as they await their forever homes, a gesture that holds special meaning for the hotel team.

Team members from Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton, recently participated in the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge. This event is especially meaningful to the hotel as they rallied in support of a long-term guest who has stayed with them for the past eight years while bravely battling cancer. The challenge raised over $1.3 million, all of which will go towards funding vital cancer research.

We are incredibly proud of our team at Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton and Peel Craft Bar & Kitchen, including Executive Chef Luis Martinez and Food and Beverage Manager Alan Gamarra, for their participation in the Shine On-Harvest Moon Farmers Market to Table Fundraiser Dinner. Chef Luis transformed fresh, local ingredients into a truly exceptional dish. This wonderful event helped raise vital funds to support the community programs offered by Orange Home Grown Foundation, a nonprofit established to cultivate community and reconnect people to a healthy, sustainable food system in Southern California.

During the second quarter of 2024, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nashville Downtown team came together to raise funds and collect donations supporting Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control. In July, they delivered a variety of wish list items, including leashes, collars, toys, treats, training pads, a pet carrier, and even a doggy swimming pool. We’re honored to contribute to their fantastic work for the animals in our community!

Our home office team recently gathered to collect school supplies for Irving Cares. This organization offers services with respect and dignity, ensuring all clients are treated equally, regardless of race, color, gender, age, disability, religion, or national origin. Additionally, Irving Cares focuses on addressing the needs of the Irving community, working closely with clients to create pathways toward self-sufficiency.

The Cincinnati Marriott at RiverCenter team stopped by the Queen City Book Bank, which donates 10 books per year to under-resourced students in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.

SPIRE Home Office teams recently visited Irving Cares and helped stock the shelves of their food pantry for its focused assistance to Irving, Texas, residents addressing a financial crisis.

Team DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Albuquerque volunteered with Joy Junction to feed those in need a Thanksgiving meal. Joy Junction offers short-term essentials such as food, clothing, counseling, transportation, shelter to homeless men, women, children, and families throughout Albuquerque.
